This web site is a simple informational web site and contains no advertising, cookies, JAVA, Active-X, frames, style sheets, DHTML, FLASH, or any other "cute" tricks. If you are looking for entertainment, look somewhere else. If you are looking for information, I have some.

This web site is designed to be read as easily as a book with maximum concern for your reading comfort. Text size, color, and font are not changed so it is directly under your control through your browser. Content is designed to display properly for window sizes ranging from 640 by 480 or less to 1600 by 1200 and beyond.

You should never need to use horizontal scrolling. Many other web sites force you to use an 800 or 1024 wide window to avoid horizontal scrolling. The recommended window size for this web site is whatever provides the best reading experience for you. This will probably be about 640 by the maximum height of your display, which closely resembles the size of a page in a book.

Using a window which is too wide makes it hard to follow the text lines. A newspaper column is one extreme in narrow width. When the print is smaller the more narrow width helps.
